Tēnā koutou
PeerZone would like to express warm thanks for all your support you have given our No Worries project over the past 3 years. In 2017 PeerZone established No Worries, an initiative funded through the Like Minds Like Mine programme to support workplaces to understand and respond to mental distress. PeerZone developed a series of workshops that were facilitated by people with their own experience of mental distress. The workshops were primarily run face to face from the ‘Power of Contact’ framework so employers would better understand how to support colleagues experiencing mental distress.
Over the past three years, the No Worries team have delivered workshops to 357 participants across 21 organisations in various parts of Aotearoa including Auckland, Whanganui, Wellington, Nelson, Christchurch and Invercargill.
In December 2020, the No Worries project will be coming to an end and the work of Like Minds Like Mine will continue to grow through other exciting projects and initiatives. Please see https://www.likeminds.org.nz or www.likemindskuwaha.nz for further information. For workplaces who continue to seek information and support, we suggest they connect with our partners at the Mental Health Foundation and their Open Minds project.
