We start by drawing or writing what crisis means to us, then choosing and discussing definitions of crisis that match our own interpretations. In crisis prevention we discuss ways to keep up our wellbeing and how to identify and deal with our personal triggers and early warning signs, and fill in a crisis prevention plan. We then explore three fictional crisis stories and discuss how the crises could have been prevented or dealt with better. We start the crisis planning part of the workshop with a discussion on the life-cycle of a crisis, then we fill in a six stage crisis plan that states what we are like in a crisis, who we want to be involved and what we need. The group then discusses the view that in every crisis lies the seed of opportunity.
