Welcoming another addition to the PeerZone whaanau, is our new Georgia PeerZone Coordinator, the funky and ever-so-cool, Roz Hayes in collaboration with Georgia Mental Health Consumer Network.
Getting to know Roz….
“I have always been amazed at the resilience of the human spirit and the power of love. I am both witness to and evidence of the fact that recovery is real.
I joined the peer work force in 2010, when I was hired by the Georgia Mental Health Consumer Network, and since that time my life has taken flight. Currently, I am the statewide coordinator of the five Peer Support, Wellness, and Respite Centers in Georgia, and I consider it an honor and a privilege. I am so excited that we now offer PeerZone workshops at each of our Peer Support, Wellness, and Respite Centers.
I share my life with Lucy and Oreo (my fur babies) and lots of supportive friends and family. I can sincerely say that I love my life. I am GRATEFUL!”
Nau mai, haere mai to Roz and GMHCN to Team PeerZone!
